Aujourd’hui le Friday est Freaky mais ce n’est pas à cause de la musique, c’est la partition du jour qui est mauvaise. Et évidemment le Père Blaise du jour est ironique. Ou tout du moins c’est un message détourné…

En 2011, Playing For Change joined forces with the United Nations Population Fund and the Millennium Development Goals Achievement Fund for UNFPA’s 7 Billion Actions campaign. By the end of that year, the world population reached 7 billion, and this global campaign strove to bring awareness to the opportunities and challenges that the population growth would present. 7 billion people means 7 billion hearts, and music has always been the best way to speak to the hearts of the people. We traveled across the globe, put headphones on musicians, added them to the track, and created “United”, which serves as a tangible example of something positive we can all do together as a human race.
As we made our way around the world we encountered love, hate, rich and poor, black and white, and many different religious groups and ideologies. It became very clear that as a human race we need to transcend from the darkness to the light and music is our weapon of the future. This song around the world features musicians who have seen and overcome conflict and hatred with love and perseverance. We dont need more trouble, what we need is love.
